Charlie
Charlie is a Principal Security Analyst at Stripe OLT, and former Microsoft and CrowdStrike Security Engineer. He focuses on Incident Response and Defensive Security, as well as mentoring, building side projects and drinking coffee.
As a Hack The Box Ambassador and UK Meetup Lead, Charlie fosters community engagement and drives skill development across cyber security, locally and beyond.
Abi
Abi has a background in theoretical physics, with work spanning quantum communication and cyber security, including feasibility studies for satellite-based Quantum Key Distribution through fog.
Driven by a passion for bridging theory and practice, they bring a balanced perspective to physics and technology. In their free time, they also enjoy art and design, and created this year’s BSides Cheltenham logos.
David
A seasoned technologist, David is on a mission to support building a strong and vibrant cyber community. He leverages his extensive experience to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, creating a supportive environment where cybersecurity professionals can thrive.
David's passion lies in empowering others and contributing to the growth and resilience of the cyber landscape.
Dom
Originally a video editor working in advertising, Dom found love for cyber security after picking it up as a hobby, and decided to pursue it as a full time career.
Now, he is a cyber security consultant, and co-runs the Cheltenham 2600 meeting.
Dom has been attending BSides for many years, so is thankful to have the opportunity to contribute to one of his favourite events.
Rich
With over 20 years in the cyber community working for industry and government, Rich has had fun playing both poacher and game keeper. He enjoys working at the cutting edge, whether that be with technology, start-ups, or the next generation of tech professionals.
Rich is passionate about building and supporting the cyber community, both in Cheltenham and further afield. Security is a team game, and it is only by blending the huge array of skills and experiences available to us that can we hope to improve the world for everybody!
